I’m writing today to ask you to please appoint a Republican to the vacant seat on the Wilson County School Board in Zone 5.
The voters in Zone 5 voted overwhelmingly for the Republican candidate and Republican values, 1,143 for Republican to 399 Democrat.
It would be wrong to ignore the will of the voters and appoint a Democrat to that position.
