Chairman's Report August 2025

My Dear Patriotic Friends,

This has been another exciting month at the national level, as President Trump continues to move the MAGA Agenda forward, producing a safer and more prosperous country for all Americans, and a safer world for everyone! This man deserves the Nobel Prize for Peace and Economics!

I just attended my first meeting of the Tennessee Republican Party State Executive Committee as your representative for Dist. 17, where I serve on the Election Integrity Committee. Tennessee is rated no.1 in the nation for Election Integrity, but I still have questions. Like, how can we have true Integrity in our Elections when we allow crossover voting in our primaries, or how can we be sure that there are no problems when approximately 40 of our 95 counties use totally electronic voting systems, with no paper ballots and no possibility of conducting an audit, should there be any doubts about the outcome??? I brought up both of these points in the EI Committee and the full Committee.

Our meetings have been very successful and we continue to grow. We have been very blessed to have had such a great facility to meet in, ever since we were told we could no longer meet at Music City Baptist. Melanie and Greg Hohman deserve our heartfelt gratitude for graciously allowing us to meet at a property that they own. However, they are going to be trying to rent that property, so we needed to find a new location. We believe we have found a place, which will be ideal and we hope to be able to disclose that very soon.
Our next meeting is on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 9:00 AM, still at 74 E Hill St. Mt. Juliet. Our special guest speaker will be Connie Reguli, a lawyer and activist, who have been fighting against government overreach and corruption for years. Connie will be delving into “Bad Bills and Dark Money - Who’s Stealing Tennessee”

The Tennessee State Fair & Wilson County Fair is only a few weeks away, beginning on Thursday, Aug 14 and ending on Saturday, Aug 23. Hope you come out to see us. If you can volunteer for a 4 -5 hour shift, please let us know now. If you are a Republican, running for office in 2026, please get us one of your signs for display, if you like. You can drop it off at 74 E Hill St. at our meeting on Aug 9, or contact us to make arrangements.

Special note: Some of our members attended an event at Cumberland University, which billed itself as “Rural Voices of Wilson County,” which was organized by the Democrats, featuring two Democrats from West Nashville on the panel. What, I ask you, have they to say about Rural Voices of Wilson County? Unfortunately, some of our local elected officials were also on the panel, which only served to add legitimacy to a slanted presentation.
