CRIME DOESN'T PAY!!!

CRIME DOESN’T PAY!!! Noah Ballard, a man caught Vandalizing our political signs, violating our God-given, constitutionally protected First Amendment Right to Free Speech, was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days for this crime! However, because of his age and because he had no prior arrests, the sentence was suspended and he will serve the time on supervised probation, reporting monthly to the probation office in Lebanon. Should he fail to present himself, he will be remanded to jail.

Additionally, the judge, expressing his displeasure over the crime and said he wished that the Legislature had made the crime a felony, as was previously proposed, which would allow for harsher sentencing. The judge admonished Noah Ballard for letting his emotions make him act like a kindergartner, coming from Davidson County to vandalize our sign and waste the valuable time of our Mt Juliet Police Department! The judge went on to say that perpetrators of actions like this in the upcoming election would not have their sentences suspended and will serve the sentence in jail. We hope this will deter others, whose passions might lead them to violate the Law and the Rights of others.
